Derivative, The Modern Lute
Derivative is the name of the game; Sanctioned by Regan economic plans, supported by Greenspan, chairman Federal Reserve, and collaborated by Presidents, and the Congress ever since, the so called the protectors of public interest; Derivatives have the free legal reign.
The derivative game creates illusions of financial paper products; The products which you can not eat, drink, cloth with, nor the product as a teacher school and educate children, nor as a doctor or nurse doctors and heals the sick; The product makes millionaires, and billionaires who get the tax break; Derivatives are the modern lute for some whether rain or shine.
Ironically when the derivative products are in trouble, the product maker those who caused the trouble get the bailout, and tax break to shine again to sharpen the lute reign.
Do we need to say more about the Regan, and Greenspan legalized and sanctioned lute game?

Three Bill Buckners Showed Up Before Congress
Alan Greenspan, Former Federal Reserve Chairman
Christopher Cox, Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman
John Snow, Former Treasury Secretary
The above three Bill Buckners showed up before congress with no refund money for their wild, and irresponsible act that has caused the nation billions of dollars, and an economy on respirator.
Commentary Plus has written several commentaries on the so called Greenspan exuberant behavior that failed to protect the public interest. He did provide in his policies the legal lacuna for some, a significant lute bounty at the cost of a nation, and world economy.
Alan Greenspan's conceding statements with an excuse that forecasting is not a science is no excuse. He failed to protect public interest in policies he recommended and implemented. Physicists Play Wall Street Crape Game
NYT Op Ed dated October 1, 2008 had an article title "This Economy Does Not Compute" by Mark Buchanan, a theoretical physicist.
How exciting? A physicist in a populous role who happens to be a or so to speak claims to be a theoretical physicist. So, what is the probability that a theoretical physicist could become a populous interested in Wall Street economic market speculation? A physicist instead of studying the physical laws becomes interested in studying the economic laws, and cites the collaboration between economist and physicists, a talk of NYT oped. Well, we have to wait and see what kind of hybrid or a genetic mutant this turns out to be.
At the outset, it seems physicists and economists are responding to changing academic institutional token rewards and commercialization. Academic institutions are becoming steadily and surely Wall Street hybrids, if not out right collaborators. Academies provide token rewards for collaboration across academic disciplines, with some unintended collaborative consequences.
Physicist and economists both are humans reared and rewarded in token economic reward and punishment Skinnerian rat model. So, by the virtue of their rearing models it seems it would be probably possible that they have developed propensity to do things which brings them token rewards. This propensity to respond to token rewards, it seems, will propel them to do things academic institution with token rewards wants or for that matter any other institutions wants them to do, in a some what predictable manner.

America Needs Cool Heads, And Change In Policy Not Bailout
Market recovers this morning. It will go through some ups and downs, and will recover without bailout. The call for a change in economic policy such as expand FDIC insurance, transfer wealth to wall street, and Bush fast pulls are all expanding profit privatazation and loss socialization.
Yesterday, market was down. Pundits were blaming Congress. Get the facts straight: first market was not as down as it was in 1987, and the market had survived without bailout. Second, it was not the failed bailout that made market go down. It is the failed economic and national policy of eight years or more, and the looting of the free marketeers which is causing the market to adjust.
America needs cool heads, and change in policy to build American industrial base and infrastructure including energy independence and renewable energy, not bailout and transfer of wealth.
The Republicans and the Democrats those who voted against the bailout indeed have demonstrated courage. Get it right, and think again before spending good money after the bad.
There are other options other than bailout, including the business restructuring, and loans.

The Debate
Barack Obama and John McCain had a debate, so to speak. The world has changed, not John McCain. John McCain demonstrated a lack of diplomatic congeniality. Diplomatic congeniality is expected in meetings, and negotiating with world leaders. A presumptuous attitude with contempt will not get John McCain anywhere with world leaders in this changed world, except may be in the world of bomb, bomb, bomb, and bomb.
Barack Obama maintained professional attitude, looked into John McCain's closed and shifting eyes, and stated his point. John McCain acted like miniature Russian Khruschew in UN minus the shoe pounding. John McCain's behavior demonstrated a sign of a man with a weak, and bruised ego.

Warren Buffett's Game, American Democracy And Fair Play
Warren Buffett is a charming man who just made 9% dividend (500 Million) plus 9% stake in Goldman Sachs plus stock options on his 5 Billion investment. And Mr. Buffett went on the TV circuit to lobby the bailout. He knows how to skim public money when he See's one coming just like other the so called free marketeers.
The game play of Congress will give by the time Monday comes 700 Billions, not 5 Billions, with no return, no stake in companies benefiting the tax payer bailout, and will buy the so called asset (the junk asset that is).
According to Paulson, he worked months on this plan in secrecy I suppose somewhere to save and reward his market colleagues where he use to be CEO of Goldman Sachs before becoming the U.S. Treasury secretary: An American fair play model for the globalized world?
After the give away, the politicians will do their song and dance to tell the tax payer that they did all this in the name of Country first, and in tax payer's best interest. Everryone Is Struggling To Make A Living
Everyone is struggling to make a living except those who do not make a living but have plenty to buy the living; they are the living curse, and planet's dark Saturn.
Carve a niche in planet's sphere, and share life and the happiness; do not collaborate with those who do not make a living as they are nothing but leach sucking blood, and giving at best if any the trickle in return.
No illusion of grandeur to aspire, survive, and do what you can to make the planet a better place for next generation to enjoy the stars and the sun.
Life brings all there is..... good, bad, and the ugly; do not let the burden of life steer you away from the good that life brings your way.

The greenery, the scenery, and all the beauty that planet has bestowed have been chewed and stewed by Wall Street greed.
The Wall Street insecurity caused by the delusional paper wealth is the devilish of all the deed manifesting the greed.

Planet In Distress
Sun looks on the planet earth with sadness, and sorrow mount; the wind blows in momentary chocking distress; Georgia president is throwing temper tantrum with his GI Joe's; Putin is angry, and he is misread by all in Washington power circle including by Rice, the ice, and by Cheney, the chicanery. Gates says foreign policies are based on interest and the reality, but oblivious that among conflicting interests and realities adversaries may have the same premise, setting the collision course. Thus, ensue the senseless build up of military industrial complex acknowledged and feared by our eminent President Eisenhower. A good news for military industrial complex, and bad news for the planet and the humanity.
Sadness abound as planet earth is surrounded by senseless fighting machines, machines, and more machines; And politicians, the hawks and the doves alike, are making adversarial policies that enhances the military industrial complex while Billions have no access to education, and Billions more live on less than a loaf of bread every day.
The planet is in distress with fossil fuel burning, pollution mounting, poverty and hunger spreading while the modern day Nero's are playing the war fiddle.
