So, What is The News

New York Times Top Story News "American Adviser to Kurds Stands to Reap Oil Profits" published on November 12, 2009. The write up states that Peter W. Galbraith "could earn millions"............

Commentary Plus, in it's minimalist tradition, would like to ask the New York Times a simple question: So what's the news?

Obama's Speech To Students

By publishing the speech, and keeping the speech non-partition Obama is making the conservatives wolf cry look foolish and silly, and most importantly Obama is keeping himself politically strong and viable.

A smart and hawkish move Mr. President.

Obamas Visit Grand Canyon

There was a write up about first lady visiting Grand Canyon in shorts. According to the write up some anonymous grumps did not like the first lady in short. The picture was great. In the picture our first lady and the first daughter looked beautiful and naturally glamorous.
Commentary plus is pleased to see America's first family just like rest of Americans who knows how to relax, and have fun.

Commentary plus wishes first family the best of summer, and lots of fun in shorts.

Ms. Maria Haberfeld's Biased and Incomplete Analysis Rush of Judgement on Police

Commentary: Obama's rush to judgment on police by Maria Haberfeld published at CNNPOLITICS.COM July 24, 2009.

Ms. Haberfeld's commentary and analysis left out several points including police officer's no response to question to identify himself and his badge #. According to news information Prof. Gates had asked three times, and police officer ignored the question not once but three times. Commentary Plus is mindful of dangers police officers face when they are called upon to check out possible burglary. However, what is a or the professional response by the officer once the officer knew that the person in the house was a rightful occupant, and there was no burglary. Wouldn't have been a professional response by the officer to say to the rightful house occupant that he was responding to a call for burglary, and now since there is no burglary sorry for any inconvenience, and left?

Commentary Plus would like to hear from Ms. Haberfeld regarding police officer's obligations towards the rightful occupant of a house who was the victim of a false alarm. Do police officers have any civility obligation in their book in such false alarm cases? Do police officer have any obligation to identify themselves and their badge # once asked? How many times police officer can ignore a private citizen question while police officer is in private citizen's house based on a false alarm?

Maria, please respond.

comments are welcomed and appreciated.

The Atom Bomb

An article "A Flash of Memory" written by Issey Miyake that was published this morning (July 14,2009) in NYT Op-Ed is inspirational, and full of hope.

Commentary Plus hopes that the humanity that had embraced the ultimate cruelty once might turn and embrace the ultimate peace. Let us wish and hope that this is the calling of our time.

Let Mr. Miyake's life story and his aspiration become a guide post to aspire to rid the planet earth from nuclear weapons, and may President Obama show courage and accept Mr. Miyake's invitation to walk the peace bridge in Hiroshima. President Obama has an opportunity to set a new political ground rule to be followed by everyone to make the planet earth a nuclear weapon free planet.

Commentary plus encourages readers to comment, and express their point of views.

Charity And Truth

July 7, 2009 Washington Post on line article titled "Pope Eyes New Financial Order" states "Pope Benedict xvi writes that economic systems need to be guided by charity and truth".

Commentary Plus has a question:

Guided by whose charity and truth?

Myopic visions and controlling agendas of charity and truth have caused more distrust and misery than humanity deserves. The financial orders of religion, state, and business world have some explaining to do. Who is going to take the lead is the begging question? Is Pope Benedict xvi ready to do some explaining? Pontificating and political maneuvering of charity and truth will not and can not be charitable nor truthful.

A Sad Day In Jurisprudence History

Commentary on NYT article "Aspiring Lawyer Finds Debt is a Bigger Hurdle Than Bar Exam." by Jonathan D. Glater published in New York Times July 1, 2009.

First, commentary plus would like to compliment Mr. Jonathan D. Glater for an excellent article. Second, commentary plus is sadden to see the Judges have converted themselves from jurists to loan collection sharks in denying Mr. Robert Bowman the entrance into bar.

A sad day in jurisprudence history. A sad day in American democracy.

CommentaryPlus Wishes Mr. Krauthammer The Best Of Mental Health

Obama Hovers From On High

Op-Ed by Charles Krauthammer
Published in The Washington Post
June 12,2009

Mr. Krauthammer's Op-Ed column ends with a diagnosis regarding Mr. Obama's state of mind "....disturbing ambivalence towards one's own country". The diagnosis is not that Mr. Obama may have a healthy questioning views towards his own country. The diagnosis is that Mr. Obama has disturbing ambivalence towards his own country.

Commentary Plus does not know the state of Mr. Obama's mind whether it contains "disturbing ambivalence" or not. However, it is apparent that Mr. Krauthammer is disturbed by Mr. Obama's visit, and what he has said to the so called Muslim countries.

The question Mr. Krauthammer must ask to himself: Whether it is healthy to accept one's own nation's mistakes, and change, and make efforts to engage in dialogue, or live in a denial neurotic disturbed life style, and engage in warfare based on false information such as the Iraq war which Mr. Krauthammer supported, and in doing so he abrogated his journalistic objectivity.

Commentary Plus wishes Mr. Krauthammer the best of mental health.

President Obama Renders A Speech To Muslim World

The planet in which we the humans live is divided by the so called the varied religion worlds such as Muslim world, Christian world, Jew world, Hindu world, Buddhist world. The intelligence that we human posses seems never gets pass from these divides the so called the religion worlds. Religion worlds are political, economic, and the state games. Mr. Obama in his political state garb will address a religion world.

Mr. Obama will deliver a speech to reach out to the Muslim world. The content and the heading of recognizing any religion world in of itself is a recognition of world divided by the religions of all kinds. Each religion group wants their own geographical territory and dominance. It may be a good intended venture but it has a virus that has divided our planet for too long.

The divisive, and irreconcilable problems are the products of these religion worlds. As long as these religion worlds are recognized and created there is no hope for a peaceful world. Each religion considers itself the best in comparison to others, and indoctrinates the generations to come into centric irreconcilable views. A speech by Mr. Obama regardless how good intentioned it might be by the virtue that it recognizes a religion world is a cause of great concern.

Obama's Games Of Economic Rendering

Bureaucratic and financial restructuring of GM and the Banks are progressing. This is a new age and face of "progressive" politics. Obama young and the restless financial advisers including the old and the beholds like previous Harvard Presidente have taken the role of decisive decision makers in shaping the automobiles, and the Banks. The new deciders are on the move. The plan is: Must do whatever it takes to pour tax payers money into a coffer with a hole!!

Are we moving away from the so called free market song and dance? Oh, never mind...there was never a free market. The market was free for some, and dungeon for the rest. The perpetual games of economic rendering moves on.........................

the problems left behind is your doing, Mr Cheney.

Mr. Cheney, your ways (the rendition, the torture, the Iraq, the Abu Ghraib, the illegal phone tap, and the like) did not work.

Mr. Cheney, Commentary plus does not question your intention to save our nation, however it has serious questions about the methods that you have promulgated, and used.

Please Mr. Cheney, speak up and tell us if you have any other better ways to clean up your smelly crap other than the rendition, the torture, the Abu Ghraib, the Illegal phone tap, and the like......................

Commentary plus is waiting to hear from you, Mr. Cheney.........................

New York Times May 19,2009 Editorial "India's Challenges"

Commentary on NYT's May 19, 2009 editorial "India's Challenges"

New York Times May 19, 2009 editorial "India's Challenges" has some septicemic "wisdom". Regardless of any "wisdom" of any kind if there is one, it is presumptuous of a national news paper to play an intrusive role in other countries domestic policies. Of course, this is not just a news paper, it is a New York Times supposedly with "super power" appendages with rights and privileges of being instructive, intrusive and presumptuous to say the least.

NYT's editorial board portrays itself as a champion of free press while does engage in some intriguing acts such as hiding illegal wire taping news for more than a year. NYT has lost it's free press credibility a long time ago. Nevertheless, it does not keep it from being presumptuous, a left over life line for NYT editorial board to hold on.

Senator John McCain, The Master

Commentary Plus commentary on Senator John McCain's stand on year marks.

The other day on senate floor Senator John McCain gave a speech. It was a speech on last year's budget. No. it was a speech on year marks. He has been lecturing about the two percent year mark budget so he does not have to talk about the ninety eight percentage of the real budget fiasco. Once again, Senator McCain has proven that he is the master of diversion artistry game to keep public from ever knowing the real year marks such as the war machine.

Total budget: $410 billion
year marks: 7.7 billions to be spent
on 9000 projects

Senator McCain, could you please enlighten us how much is the continuous "year marks" for the war machine? Oh. yes. I forgot that we do not call the war machine budget as the year mark. It is just marked, and it is continuous.

General Zinni Disqualifies Himself

"General Says His Iraq Envoy Job Was Rescinded" NYT Article Published: Feb.6, 2009

The above news article published in New York Times Head Line News February 6, 2009 by Eric Schmitt and Mark Lander.

According to the article when General Zinni was offered the Saudi Arabia envoy job instead of Iraq envoy job, General Zinni's response was: "I told them to stick it where the sun don't shine."

Commentary Plus Comment On General Zinni's Response:

The response reflects General Zinni's attitude which in of itself disqualifies the General from holding any diplomatic job let alone a diplomatic job in a troubled area such as Iraq.

Commentary Plus salutes General Zinni for his service, and wishes him a prosperous year, and best of mental health. ect General's attitude which in of itself disqualifies the General for any CCCdiplomating job.

Chief Justice Robert's Flubber Is Not A Laughing Matter

Chief Justice Robert's Flubber or Blooper during the presidential oath ceremony suggests that Justice Robert may have certain neuropsychological condition. No. it is not a Freudian slip. No. it is not a Patenjali grammar glitch. Paraphrasing and similar expressive language responses are considered suggestive of a neuropsychological condition, and must not be over looked. Given Chief Justice Robert's medical condition, the probability that he may have a neuropsychological condition is much greater than otherwise.

Commentary plus suggest that Chief Justice Robert take neuropsychological tests to determine the condition.

Editorial Comment:

Commentary Plus wishes Chief Justice Roberts a good health, and a prosperous New Year.
